HOMAGE is for solo rudimental snare drum. This piece utilizes the rhythmic language of marching percussion arranger Mike Jackson who I spent most of my DCI career with during his time at the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps. I aim to show appreciation for his unique rhythmic language coupled with my love for the rudimental composition style we have seen in percussion for quite some time now.
